Take a moment between BBQ and Beers and give thanks to all who stood up for our freedom. Likewise, give thanks for those who have served and continue to stay vigilant on our behalf.

I for one (and so sill the other Vets here) thank you for your thoughts and words.

I am so thankful folks have turned away from the hatred of “those who served” during the Vietnam “conflict”. It is nice to hear “thank you for your service”.

Yes, it would have been nice to hear that over 50 years ago, but certainly better late than never. Here's to all the Vets and those presently serving ; Semper Fi.
