Did you strike out on a SS4?

Posted By: Stealther

Did you strike out on a SS4? - 01/09/07 10:54 AM

Are you on Active Duty in the U.S. Military, Coast Guard or activated Reserves? Did you get an order canceled on the second release of the SS4?

Send me a PM if you meet the above criteria. Quite a few of these will be "dog-eared" (sorry I had to) for those that are in the line of fire.

[color:"red"] BTW, I know I shouldn't have to say it. But these are not for you to flip and resell for a profit, if you must sell it, please do so at cost, on your honor. [/color]

Chris - It would be great if you can help a couple of our Troops in their quest for an SS4 ! It's folks like YOU who make this such a great place to hang out!! Tom

Chris - did you happen to hear from the Trooper that I was trying to help? I know he REALLY wanted an SS4, and I sure hated to tell him that the order I thought had been placed was a fluke. Thanks for your efforts! Tom

I didn't get one, but I wasn't really in the running anyway because my last paycheck was nonexistent. This is a great gesture on your part though.

Semper Fi- dear god in heaven it's a marine . The only thing worse than a marine is a coastie.

Jerry-who did his time in The Navy and gives every marine and coastie a hard time.

That's OK Jerrwhy - almost every "swab-jockey" reminds Marines that they are a Department of the Navy; and that's true - the MEN'S Department of the Navy! Semper Fi ! I want to publicly thank stealther and private klink. They both really helped me out in getting an ss4 private klink stayed on the internet to order me one when I was out on a mission and when that fell through stealther hooked me up. So thanks to both of them and everyone who supports what we do.

You're not a marine are you? Couldn't resist.

On a more serious note though if you need anything sent to you from the states e.g., batteries, razors, etc... feel free to contact me. I did my time in the sand during the first Gulf War and Somalia.

Peace
Jerry

No need to thank me, this sort of thing should be the norm honestly. Hopefully it will be contagious, and not just with knives! Oh BTW I added some eye-candy to the original post.

Offer ends today at midnight for military and related fields. While I appreciate the service to the community that custodians, school teachers, plumbers, and foreign nationals provide, this offer is for military and related fields. Watch BF For Sale section for any left overs if there are any.

Once again, what a great offer and a big heart.

You Rock!

Stealther .......I thought something was up when I saw Grumpy on BF with the same thing.......those multiple personalities will catch up with you!!!

Re: Did you strike out on a SS4? - 01/14/07 07:51 AM

Yeah, someone took my nickname on BF But if you notice my signature I try to eliminate the confusion 10 minutes left on the offer!

Thanks Dan, I've gotten some flack from some people who are not happy I won't give them the same deal but for the most part I've gotten a lot of support. Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I'll inspire others to do something similar.
