Show us your sharpest Scrap Yard or Bussekin Knife

There is a good crowd here tonight. Lets see your sharpest Scrapyard knife or even a Bussekin knife. Mine is my DFLE with the Third World Grind Shop edge followed by my Busse Sarsquatch.

Mine is my Skinny Ash with a full convex edge

I'm not sure, it may be my Bird Dog. Or it may be my SS4.

Currently, my sharpest is probably my Swamp Rat Howling Rat 2nd Gen.

Mines my SARsquatch followed closely by my DMCGUSP

Believe it or not - this is my sharpest. A Ban modified FFBM. It falls into the "SCARY" sharp category.

I do love that Banned FFBM KSJ....too shiny for my type of use but VERY captivating.

It's my ASH-1. Somehow I cannot get the DMDC as sharp as the ASH. It's close, but not as sharp.

Anyway, here's an example of a push cut. Goes through quite easily:



I love convex edges. This was cut after some light chopping on the weekend. I will touch up the edge on the leather strop tonight. Amazing steel.

My Mud Puppy shaved when I got it, dose that count?

my sharpest SY is the one I've most recently sharpened.
the nice edge I put on them is soon gone after a hard day of chopping.

Mine has to be the Yard Hook with 15° Sharpmaker edges off ultra-fine rods.

My DMLE; I reprofiled the edge to a 20 degree angle, and it literally shaved the hair off the back of my neck.

KG and Gideon, those are awesome edges you've got; I'll have to keep practicing to get as good looking an edge as that.

Gotta get myself a belt sander one of these days. Those mirror finishes look great!
