New JYD's and Super JYD's

Since OrDawg and I achieved our JYD status on January 11th of this year,
there have been 13 new JYD's hit the Yard.
Soon there will be 14 as VoxHog needs only one more post, and I'm sure that
there are others closing in on the 1000 post plateau before too long.

As well, 3 Venerable Members of our Society have reached the 10,000 post
plateau this year, with 2 more Senior Members closing in.

Have events of this magnitude ever happened in the history of our beloved Forum?

This forum is one of the liveliest and most energetic forums I've ever been
on, and the fact that we all make a concerted effort to all exist together in
harmonious relations is very special.

I, for one am very proud to be a small part of this community.

Cheers and congrats to all who have achieved lofty goals here this year.

Yep... this is certainly one of the better forums out there. I have a ways to go, though, before I get to JYD status. Probably because I'm not making a concerted effort to get there. I'll get there when I get there!

A big +1!

Before coming to the yard, I was on several different knife and hunting forums, but I got so tired of the backstabbing, namecalling, insulting attitude that seemed to be unendingly occurring.

Now that I have the yard, and the amazing and friendly people within it, I rarely if ever go on those other forums. Last month, one of the guys I used to chat with a lot e-mailed me, asking why I wasn't on the site anymore. I simply told him that I'd found my own little utopia forum. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yup! And it only took me a year!
