nice! one my favorites from the Yard

When I first found the Yard the Muk was up for preorder but it wasn't what I was looking for at the time and ended up passing on it. After I ordered my Scrapper5 I began to regret not getting a Muk. I luckily found one at a pretty good price!

My brother ordered a Muk, and as soon as it arrived, I knew I screwed up by not getting one.

I missed out on the muk first go round too, but I also snagged a good deal on a second hand one. After I threw a wicked convex edge on it, that thing became a little beast. Between that and the BDLE, I've got my kitchen knives pretty well covered.

The Muk is an amazing knife! I ordered a couple hesitantly, liking the design, but unsure if I'd use it a lot. It's now one of my most used knives in the kitchen and in my field pack! It's probably one of the best knife designs I've come across for doing it all!

And like MM said, put a convex edge on this baby, and you've got one heck of an awesome knife!

I've only used my Muk once so far, to cut a pizza. I need a sheath for it.

i love my muk and i suggest you do the same!

I can not get my mind around to liking the design, it just looks all wrong. Do not get me wrong, I am not picking on the Scrap Yard version alone. The only one I have seen that looks like I would enjoy owning it is Dan Koster's giant, or whatever he calls it, one. But that thing is huge and thick more like normal Busse-kin knives.

So please let me know why you guys like the design so much that it is your favorite or one of your favorites. Perhaps I will learn something.
