Mongrel at last!

I just noticed that I am only 19 posts away from becoming a Mongrel. Mongrel Horn Dog has a nice sound to it. Now, I'm not quite as shameless as my friend the Diceman, so I'm not just going to post for the points. I need real stuff to post about. Can you dogs help me out?

it's one funky knife. about 3.75" blade, .24" thick or so, 1.125 at its widest.

What it is?

that is a very thick short blade.

it's kinda like a tanto with a swedge. i'm finding many traces of the hammer. i got it pretty cheap so it doesn't really bother me. imagine the thick spine was straight in line with the grip then he started hammering the steel thin out near the point, squeezin the spine outward. i'll ge a pic.

got to hate bud k, it is all pakistan junk. no offense

this pic is deceiving. the spine reaches back further than is evident. not a bad thing, still woulda bought it. edge has some hammers in it which will look terrible when i sharpen it which means i'll have to destroy the entire mirror polish and satin it myself.

the handle and sheath look nice.

yes bors, it's HI. Sarge knife.

been workin on it, it's all satin now and mostly sharp. the belly, swedge, and point got real sharp real fast. the middle third of the main edge is troublesome. right now it's a git sharper than my wetterlings, which cuts pretty decently, but i'm gonna keep goin at it after i get back from 300. ted, don't post till i get back.

actually, no one post.

and i do like the sheath, so i'll contact fiddleback another time.

retention strap is way too loose, though
