New Busse Kin Collectors Forum

I hope this is all right with Dan, but I was afraid the link wouldn’t be seen half way down another thread page, and some people might not read that thread thinking they already know about it, so I thought I’d start a new thread. I started a new forum for buying, trading, and selling knives and other items, and I wanted to make sure everyone saw the link.

So far 97% have said they like the new forum better than the Yahoo group, so if you haven’t joined yet, please check us out. Unlike BF or eBay, there are no fees. It’s hosted on my website, so I have more control of it than the Yahoo group. It’s more organized and easier to find things. I also enabled attachments, so those who don’t have a photo hosting site can upload their pics to my site without having to sign up for a photo host.

Besides a selling forum, I created a couple chat forums for if you guys want to post there. I know sometimes someone wants to show off a new knife they got, but Dan doesn’t like you to do that if you’re not comparing it to a Busse Kin knife. So if you just want to show off a knife without doing a comparison, you’re welcome to do it there. Of course, you could do that on BF, but this forum is going to probably be only people from here, so it’s a more close-knit group. Anyway, check it out if you haven’t. Andy, in this case I have no issue with it. However, I want everyone to understand that there is no association or sponsorship from ScrapYard and or any Busse company.

Hey Tom- just saw this as I am at the motel where I leave my rig. Will shuttle in morning and then off to Mexico for a bit. Just migrated over to your new site, Andy. Not a fan of yahoo...although I kinda like getting email notifications of new offerings.

The only problem with that was there was always a delay, so if it was something really good, someone who checked the page could see the deal and swoop on it before it was emailed to everyone. I dunno why they did that.

At least since there's not too much traffic so far, it's easy to check in once a day to see if anything new is posted.
