are we not due for a big blade?

we have had all these small ones. id like to see A. a sword. B. a hawk. or C. a big 10" blade(no longer) but wider (not thicker) but wider. wider than a battle mistress.

I wouldn't mind seeing a big chopper from Scrapyard.

I'm telling you, if there is going to be a Bussekin machete, it has to come from the Yard. I'd buy at least 10.

so lets get this setteled a 10" blade aprox .270 thick. blade shaped like battle mistress only wider with penetrator tip. this would the be all,end all ultimate chopper.

Looking at the trends with the Busse-kin knives and how when one of the companies brings out a knife the others follow with a similar model...I'm still expecting a Scrapyard version of the Busse SarsQuatch, I'm now thinking this could have one of the reulator handles ! ScrapSquatch ?

I'd love to see a big bellied blade like the SarQ with Dfather style handles and added length (dogfather length).

Pit, it does make sense. I have wanted to mess with a Sarsquatch but did not want to pay the secondary price not to like it. Now, if Dan brought one out it would be a no brainer.

I have been wondering about this. Would scrap Yard wait until the BWM is out of the Busse site before they offer a big blade? Just so there is no competition? The TankBuster sounded very interesting. Since I'm very new to all things Busse I had to google it. I don't really care for the spine profile (reminds me too much of a SOG Seal) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />.

I wouldn't be overly interested in a 10" Reg/DeReg. The clip point blade isn't my favorite profile either.

I would definitely buy a 3/16" thick DF, but would be more interested in a Reg thickness (.333) DogFather <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />.

I know the profile looks quirky...but it is actually very useful in application. It provides 2 different "choke" points to get up close and personal for detail work, and feels fantastic in hand.

However, I don't like the look of the profile...turns me off, so I sold mine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'd love to see a ResC handled BWM style blade....nice and thin, maybe a bit longer for some good bush whackin!
