Who's getting in on the Ganza tonight?

I got a couple of knives I'm going to try for tonight.

I'm going for a Boss Jack and CF BWM.

Not onto playing games to get knives,but that's just me.I can't afford it right now anyway.

I wish Dan would offer some CF blades,like the DF,SOD & Reg.

I " might" go for a couple if I am around. Not too much there IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. Knob looked a bit sparse to say the least <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. This Ganza looks a lil thin in the offerings- hopefuly Blade will be a real GO for the guys that go <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />. i think i'm gonna try to snag a couple things. if i do get in then it'll be for the regulator le and a choiless jack.

I think I'll pass on the Ganza, due to the knives I got via Knob Creek. I am going for the BWM, I really like those. The regulator LE is sweet but I think that is best left black on black. Looks meaner that way.

I'll try for a Regulator LE.

Played the ganza stuff once, not crazy about all the hoops to jump thru.
Then got shut out.. Fool me once shame on me.. ETC ETC!!HA !!
Dan should offer an unfinished DF since the Satin was a nightmare before.
No coating & no satin. Maybe a shorter Res-C waki.

You will love the BWM and if ya don't score that one- go order it in the store- you won't be sorry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Time to rev up our mouses ( mice) - or whatever it is we do during these Ganzas <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I never did have any luck in the few ganza's i participated in, but going to give it another try.

I seen it on Bladeforums first, my timestamp says 9:45, so hopefully I'm good to go.

I do have a BWM and a Mil Regulator. What is the diff between the Reg LE and the Mil Regulator? I understand it is satin finish and is differentially treated. Are the dimensions different? A satin SR-101 makes me nervous as heck! I keep my tool steel knives well oiled but I still get spotting. That thing has alot of surface area to keep up on.

I got back from work late. Missed the ganzaa after my girl got mad at me for going on the computer right away after work... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> And the worst part is, I put "re:shamruckoganzaa" as the title of my email...

Well I wasn't going to and I have been on the road and just made it back in cell range. So I am 3hrs late. But that RegLE kept calling and it would fit well with my other 6.

Maybe I'll get lucky. If not I will find one some day.

Do they ever make production versions of the knives in the ganzaas or are the ganzaas usually show knives, variants and prototypes?

I sure wish Busse would offer those new CF versions of all their models in the future. Some of us just prefer naked INFI but are too cheap to buy the LEs. If I had not already converted one of my BWMs to a stripped convex version, I would have got in on this ganza. The price was about the same as a CG version, and it would have saved me a lot of work.

That what I like about the yard. I learn new things all the time. I know next to nothing about the way ganzaas or shows are run in the context of the way they produce/manufacture knives.

Not sure about that. I think that the Busse crew are some of the smartest marketers out there. The opaqueness just adds to the buzz and excitement. Keeping the knives limited keeps demand high and as for the Ganzaaas - well...I for one have never been so excited about handing over money. It is pretty unique.
