New dog in the house(updated)

well my brother came in today and said that he and his girlfriend were going to pick up the new family dog. She has been wanting a boxer puppy for awhile and today was the day. so without further ado.....meet Dempsey

What a sweety!!! My buddy got a boxer at 6 weeks. He's now 4 months and HUGE. He's my favorite 'friends' dog. Salem his name is.

Wow, that is a gorgeous dog. Reminds me of my buddy Jarrod's Boxer almost, very pretty mottling. Such a sweet face too!

Awesome dog, makes me want my TIbetan more and more. I gotta wait though, the Army is no place to have a dog. Deployments and being seperated from it would be bad for the dog.

Ireash, You are correct! Even when they grow up, they add something POSITIVE to our lives. I heard somewhere, that there's nothing like going to sleep covered in dog slobbers to make you rest like a, well, a puppy!

he about 31lbs now @ 4months

yeah she's gone from running and falling down every third step to going full throttle and turning on a dime, in one day. still having some trouble learning how to run on hard wood floors

yeah she thinks she miss high and mighty at the house, but she got taken down a peg or two yesterday. we went and visited my brother's girlfriend's parent's house. they have a 150lbs. lab she was trying to play with. It was funny watching her trying to be all big and tough, but ole larry(the lab) just kept putting her in her place.
