... but the war dog works quite well on my late-night corned beef and cabbage. Is this what you mean when you say a knife is a "user"?

Now you just need 5 more and you will have your "Steak knives" covered. Then you'll need a DogFather for your cleaver, then the bird dog or Weiner dog for a boner, then an SS4 for a pairing knife and a Scrap Muk for a Skinner and a Mud Puppy for well cause you need one.

Yes, WELCOME! Now you see how this can get into your blood REAL quick!

Welcome aboard. The WD is the most versitile blade around the kitchen but I'm really sorry you will need more.

Good choice for a kitchen and table knife. My daughter loves using my WD on preparing venison steaks.

Yes the WD as in Wiener Dog is a great knife. OK so is the War Dog.

The War Dog is the size and shape of a general purpose kitchen knife

I lightly sharpened the War Dog I got recently and it was cutting tomatoes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

welcome!

I love using REAL knives for food. Compared to bussekin knives, the kitchen cutlery I had doesn't hold an edge.

Hehe...Quite the opposite experience here...Very few Bussekins can match my Shuns and Globals in the kitchen for all-around prep. Bussekins can do the job, no doubt...But not as fast, nor as precise.

Well, it works pretty good for food, especially considering how thick the blade is. Its developed an interesting blueish patina on part of the blade after that meal, though, but I kinda like it, gives it some additional character if you know what I mean. I wonder what the source was, though. The salt from the brine, perhaps?
