A great video about Heimo and his family in Alaska

Heimo and his wife live in the Artic. I remember first seeing him and his family in a National Geographic special called Braving Alaska with my dad. He loved everything nature.

Heimo came from Appleton Wisc. and moved up north to find peace. It did not come easy. But he found many rewards, such as a wife and children.

This little documentary is filled with great outdoor scenes, and hunting and fishing. Some can be graphic so beware. The parts with the bear esp. But it is well made and I found it very enjoyable.

It is about 53 minutes long and definitely worth watching. You cant but want to be there even if just for a week or so visit.
