What GD said. I can't make them for squat, but then again I don't practice making them very often.

True. Maybe I should have been more specific. Which one is the most comfortable to use for feather sticks? My 711 works really well but having to choke up is a PITA on the web of my hand.

I THINK it was Pitman that showed another way of making them. You hold the KNIFE still and move the stick. Works really well if you pound the point of the knife into a larger piece of wood and them move the "Feather Stick" back and forth while holding the knife handle for stability.

There ya go again, you liberals can't get your nomenclature right. The WD is the Weiner Dog! grin

Morning Rich. Been enjoying your fishing pictures. Nice looking family and what a good way to spend time together.

I hope everything is going well for Y'all.

Way to go Rich! I won't be getting that one, the blade MIGHT be just a couple hairs to long. So Patty said If I can find one to go ahead and get the Emerson Fixed blade. I have ordered it but haven't gotten the chance to check my confirmation email yet.

Hmmmmm Wonder how a Karamit would making feathersticks? It should work.
