punched a 45 pound steel plate with one and didn't feel a thing, didn't scuff the knuckles either, so i say they're good to go

Man, that is some extreme testing. Glad they are the real deal. That kind of testing reminds me of the guy who invented the bullet proof vest and letting peple shoot him with a .44 mag. Yes, it worked but still painful!

Wiley-X is a popular manufacturer on the military bases. I have a pair of their sunglasses that I bought at the local BX. Those gloves look like they'd make excellent motorcycle riding gloves.
