I find myself trying to create "uses" to justify adding (or keeping) knives. In reality, how many of us routinely carry a fixed blade on our person? I do, everyday, that I'm not working at my regular job. However, at my regular job its a folder and possibly Warden (which barely qualifies as a fixed blade). I keep a 4 to 10" fixed blade in my commuter bag (as a "just in case" measure).
