Ted, Have you ever used the 85/1.2? The glass is great, but the weight, balance, autofocus, ergonomics, etc., leave a lot to be desired.
I had the original FD 85/1.2 L and I loved it. It was a great lens and visually stunning as well. The EF version is ugly and slow in comparison. I opted for the 85/1.8 EF when I went to autofocus.
