I'll be interested to see if Dan is willing make a thinner knife, Vic. (The SS4 was unique in more than one way. Not only was it made of INFI, it's the only knife Dan has produced that's under 1/4" thick.)...
Surely Dan can find some S-7 stock in 1/8" or 3/16" to transform into SR-77. A thin blade just slices better. The DM was overbuilt to be a combat knife. And I agree, an uncoated blade might be better. Or he could just make it in uncoated D2, if Jerry has some of that lying around.
