I wouldn't want to compare the Browning against a DF, Bors. If anything, I'd be more inclined to compare it to an RD-9. Given the fact that the Browning comes with a leather sheath, is likely to be a reasonably good chopper, has micarta handles and a satin finish, it's got to be considered a bargain at $139.95. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I don't think it's as much of a bargain as the DF. On the surface you get more with the nice polish and the nice leather sheath but under the surface where it really counts the DF is way above and a much better value. This is a mass produced knife designed for average users.
It would be a nice knife to add to the collection non the less just not the one I would grab headed into a storm.
