OK Guys, here goes.
I have a Glock 17 I bought off the widow of a fellow Police Office when he died of a Brain aneurysm Way back in probably 1998. It was his duty weapon for many years so I am guessing it is a Gen 1. Tell me what is wrong with this gun. I have only shot it one time (3 mags worth).
.... more than likely a Gen 2. Is the grip smooth ? Or is there "checkering" on the front and back straps ?
