Actually the Rambo movies really helped kick start the demand for really good quality survival knives. Sure Jerry was making knives before that but if their was no demand from collectors would there have been a Busse Combat?
The cheap hollow handle 9.99$ knives were awful but the original Lyle knives were actually very very nice and they kicked started the demand for good knives.
