Patty and I were with her Dad when he passed. It was hard, but he went easy. My Dad, Patty and I had just stepped out to stretch our legs (we had been in his hospital room for 2 days) and were just on our way back up to his room when they called. He was sleeping and never woke up.

The day before he passed he had Patty and I to get on each side of his bed and hold his hands. He raised our all our hands in the air and Blessed Patty and I. I cried. He said it was customary for a father to bless his oldest son (I am an only child) and he said he wanted to do it for us and him as well. I think he felt blessed that he could do this for us.
