I keep thinking of getting that Hungarian Axe. However, those Cold Steel Model 89PA Pole Axes are still on clearance, so I finally had to place an order. Unlike the Arms & Armor #104 Hungarian Axe, I've read that the 89PA is historically inaccurate and it's a pain in the buttocks to assemble, but the price is simply too low to say no.

I've also seen some postings over on BladeForums about the Naval Boarding Axe HEAD ONLY at Jas Townsend & Son, Inc. It's tempting, but I'm not in the mood to carve ax handles and I got pretty much the same functionality from Harbor Freight's 2-lb Fireman's Hatchet.
