Dont' sweat the pics. I have an REM 700 in .308 in a left handed action with a Lupy VariX III LR mil-dot that I have been shooting for a few years. My farthest one shot hit is 847 yards. It was hot as heck outside and I was getting bit up by ants, the slope was about 25 degrees shooting down across 2 small valleys. The close wind was about 5mph. My shot was 6 inches low and 3 inches right of POA. My dad took my data and made the same shot after me and was 2 inches right with dead on elevation. It was the happiest shooting day we have ever had. All of the tough talking "thousand yards shooters" that we were with missed the paper altogether and one did not even bring his data cards which was pretty lame considering we were in a precision rifle class.

What kinds of distances do you get to shoot?
