No limit on order? No 'virtual' shopping cart tied to realtime inventory?

i just added 12,000 Scrapper4's to my cart, for a total of $1,670,400- and it was letting my procede to checkout-

thats Strange...

anyhow, my scrapper came yesterday, and sold me on the idea of grabbing a few more... not 12000 mind you, but a few more...
