The good news is I just landed my career job. Its a great job at a coal fueled power plant here in Page, AZ. This plant pays great, has amazing benefits including an outstanding 401K program and nows the time to get in since their losing half of their employees to retirement within the next five years. That means I can move up the ladder really quick if I do well. Needless to say my family and I are very excited, this will give us the financial security we need for the rest of our lives. Here's the catch though; there's a 10 week payed class that I have to pass to be officially hired on. I don't forsee any problems with passing it, I'm a pretty good student (3.75 college GPA) but its pretty intense so here's hoping.
Now for the bad news. My current job keeps me on the computer all day so thats how I am able to be a somewhat regular contributer to this forum. I don't have a computer at home so you guys won't be seeing me too often anymore. I'll try to pop in to say hi every once in awhile (and of course to check on knife releases) but I won't be a regular again until we get a computer at home with the internet (which might be awhile, like towards the end of the year). My new job starts the 11th of June so next week will be my last week as a regular here.
Thanks to the yard for being such pals. This isn't goodbye, just a see ya later for awhile. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
That's tremendously good news.....Congratulations
Get focused and pass that class
