It also explains why childrens issues appear to be getting worse every generation. School teachers are now placed in the awkward (and inappropriate IMO) position of teaching the kids values instead of their parents. There are some absolutely wonderful teachers and there are some absolutely terrible teachers. Which will the child get? Does the teacher teach YOUR values?
as a person who taught high school math for the past four years, i whole-heartedly agree with and appreciate your statement.
i worked with some wonderful people, but i also worked with some real losers (talking teachers here... that's just a given for the kids <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />).
