You look like you have lost a bit of weight now that winter is over and you can get out more?
I fluxuate a bit. Recently I was a bit over 300, but now I’m about 295. I need to start working out again and walking more.
I still haven't got on the neck knife band wagon. For a small blade, I still go with pocket knives. Maybe it's just my age. Since I always wear pants with pockets, a pocket knife just seems pratical to me.
I carried pocket knives since I was 4 until I got my Shaker. I’ve always been a little nervous with folders though, especially sharp ones. I’m guessing that’s because of my Dad. When I was 5-6 or so, my Dad had a lockback fold on him, and cut his fingers to the bone. Ever since then, I’ve not fully trusted them. Fixed blades are stronger than folders, and you don’t have to worry about your fingers.
Also, I’ve not bought any other knives since I starting buying Rats and Dogs. I love the company, the people, the quality, and the warranty. Since I didn’t get a Rat Trap when they were being sold, it was the best option for me that would replace a pocket knife.
As soon as I’m home from town, I switch into my PJs for comfort. I got frustrated when I’d need a knife a lot and didn’t have one handy while in my PJs. I could carry my Shaker in the PJ pocket, (the ones that have pockets) but several times it fell out and I was afraid of losing it. I thought a neck sheath would be a good option for me. It’s a duel use item too, because I can take the chain off and use it as a pocket sheath as well.
