Bach didn't visit too many other composers. For example, he never crossed the English Channel to visit Handel. But he did journey to Italy to meet Vivaldi. That would have been quite a meeting . . . arguably the two greatest composers of the Baroque period (if not of all time) as well as the greatest organist (Bach) and the greatest violinist (Vivaldi) of their era.
