The guys in the Swamp Rat forum on Bladeforums wouldn't even acknowledge the comment the last time I brought it up. Seems only here, and in the Ranger Forum can one reasonably discuss, compare, and contrast different knives without someone getting their panties in a bunch.
I went over and looked at the thread you commented on, looks to me like a simple non response instead of the animosity your seeing. Why would you take offense? Now if someone said you were being silly then I'd understand. But you didnt seem to get any negative responses at all, or are you simply trying to stir the pot?
The Us vs Them attitudes only cause friction, even when it was started as a light hearted poke it ended up in quite the blow out a few years ago. Cross forum bashing isnt good in any form, it only causes bad feelings.
