What I did find however was snook - A gesture of derision or defiance.
Cocking a snook involves spreading your fingers wide and putting your thumb to your nose, hand held vertically. Waggling the fingers is an optional intensifier.
The gesture is also called a Five Fingered Salute and - for reasons obscure to me - Queen Anne's Fan.
