My M6 seems thicker than .25". Maybe its that extra extra thick gray coating <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm going to measure it this weekend and I'll post the thickness. The thickness of the scales/tang makes it feel more comfortable/more secure in the hand than the BATAC for me.
