Lew,
That is a VERY impressive family portrait!
If you had to pick a EDC which one would you choose and why?
I respect your opinion and am genuinely curious!
Thanks again Lew,
Great kids, but you are right... you NEED a bigger family.
"shaker" /3"drop point!
Peace.
Hi Dave,
Thanks. For a true EDC that I would conceal in a pocket I'd pick the SS4 just based on the size and handle. For a knockin' around the yard/short hike knife I like the Dumpster Mutt. It fits my small hands very nicely and is clearly indestructable. There is nothing I would be afraid to cut/chop/dig/pry with a Dumpster Mutt.
For a multiday camping/hiking extravaganza I'd want the S6 (or LE) and the Yard Keeper. I could baton/chop fire wood etc. with the S6 no problem. The DF is great but I wouldn't want to hike with it. I lugged far too many overweight packs on my way to Eagle scout to finally learn the minimum I need to hike and camp with
I don't like coated knives for food prep/cooking so I'd use the Yard Keeper as my kitchen knife and backup knife if something happened to the S6.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it
