That's a nice little collection he has, I too had a buck folder, and a swiss army style knife when I was young.
That Mora is about the perfect first knife for a boy. It is sharp ,has a great double guard ,is easy to find if you drop it and won't close on your fingers.It is even cheap enough so any learning experiences won't be to painfull.
