A VERY large number of knives are sold to the United States of America Department of Defense for Military use. As per their standards there is and will not be identification allowed on Military items. Rather than re-run a production of knives with a Logo added to them after they have all been produced and sold except for the thousand or so that are offered up on the Yard for sale they just keep it cheap and simple and sell us what is already done. The Logo on the Satin finish blades is part of the whole de-blemishing process to bring the base steel of the blade up to specs for a satin finish and is therefore no trouble. Those are run for The Yard only and are NOT sold to the Government. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
