they say to investors.. you should not become emotionally attached to the product you're selling. be stone cold.

anyways..
so one time my old man got "attached" to this ugly piece of vacant land he bought for like.. less $ than a '68 Chevy cost brand new.. like 4 digits or something stupid.
a Decade ago some developers offered him $500,000 for it, repeatedly! he turned 'em DOWN!
oh man.. i just about puked.
then the local economy took a downturn.. it just sat for the longest time.
Recently he ended up selling it for a hair under $300,000.
so.. he still scored mind you.. but just had to wait longer.. and got less.
moral of the story..
i'm not sure.. but i don't think i'd make a very good "investor" if it comes to knives..
