I found myself reflecting more on Bruce's original question some more last night and this morning.

I was feeling like I needed to make a more practical choice. I got to thinking about the DF and I thought maybe that's too big to be practical...but then I thought, as far as blades and uses it's really more of a medium sized knife (small and compact as a chopper, when compared to a machete, and with a little creativity and a good edge it can be a slicer too, pretty easy to choke up on the blade) so at least in my neck of the woods that really makes it one of my best choices.

So at least for today.... I have to say, If There Can Be Only One...I pick the Dog Father!
