I want to know if you think a reprofiled DF would do well in the comp?
That old guy that I talked about in the other thread, Gerome Weinand, is there for the cutting contest. He'd made a DF size cutter, 1/4" thick, full flat grind - and he said that it was too thick to do well in the contest. Sounds like you'd want something that is about 3/16 - I think the DF is too much of a beast for it! Ontario RTAK II would probably do very well though.
