.... all three companies have contracts with the military from time to time so that also eats into production.
Jerry
Could this be true, i.e., the military contracts for knives from Busse companies? I've read that some soldiers and Marines are issued no knives at all. I've been sending knives to Iraq and Afganistan since 2002, in the belief some guys had empty sheaths. If it's true some guys have no knives at all and yet the military can afford formal contracts with the Busse companies instead of companies like Kershaw, Camillus and Ontario, something is amiss. I can understand individual soldiers and Marines, who can afford the best, might order a Busse, or maybe some elite units, but if the military as a whole is not ordering from the lowest bidder, as they have in the past, it's no wonder our taxes are so high. Please understand, I am not saying the military should be forming contracts with the lowest bidder, only that that is how I understand the process has worked historically.
Please understand Jerry, I do not question your veracity, I just raise the question.
