A warm salt water soak rusts and black marks sr77 a bit but it doesn't pit and cleans up well. I wouldn't have any serious worries over naked sr77- just keep a bit of oily rag handy (I spent a stupid amount of money getting a Busse Basic 7 (M-INFI) because I hate rust so much...) but I'd still probably take my beat up S6 over the Basic 7 most of the time!
