I think stan worked on it some right before the picture (not positive), notice the penetrator tip gone; we'll ask him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I doubt it. Look at the factory edge and follow it to the tip. It seems pretty factory like consistant.
Not that an edge can't be reshaped to look factory original. But, that just looks factory to me.
