I'll always take two knives with me if I know I could end up in a potential "survival" situation. Ideally, I'd like to have my Dogfather for big work and my BATAC for small work whenever I go out to the woods. When I'm out doing land navigation courses w/ the National Guard (or any military training) I have the BATAC and my RAT3, due to size/weight considerations.

If I could only have one knife, it'd be a 7" blade, probably my RD7 or Yard Hook.
