We have not really tried heavy chopping yet, but it handles light chopping like a piece of cake. Heavy chopping should be fine as this version was an improved version of the Enep that was forged by the bladesmiths in Thailand..

As part of the test for this version of the Enep, they even chopped bufflao bone with it. So it should handle heavy chopping fine. Look for a thread by Santi on BF on the Enep. There are pics there..
