...Does anyone think the Chopweiler provides something that the hook doesn't performance wise?
We will soon know. I'm putting my Yard Hook up against the new Ratweiler as soon as I get a chance.
A couple of observations that I'll add since I already have both. I like both, but they are different in feel. The Hook has a better balance for all around cutting while the Ratweiler feels more like a chopper. Another thing, the Ratweiler is differentially heat treated, that could be a plus in some situations. The Hook has a more comfortable Res-c handle though.
