I am norse and welsh with a bit of scots. My best friend is zulu/scots which is an interesting combo. Both tribes are fierce warriors though. There was a Highland guard who carried a claymore in WW2 and quite a few who used them in WW1.

Wellington conquered millions of east indians with a couple thousand trained soldiers ,his finest troops were the highlanders who with their bearskin hats were several feet taller than the indians. The real reason they won is discipline.
When the Indians would start taking casualties they would turn and run. The trained British troops would keep fighting and keep moving forward.
