K.G. you really took some time and effort to put together that post. I have taken the time to copy it to MS Word and print it out so I have a "hard copy" to look at time and time again as I get my nerve up.
With the passion I have for steel it is beginning to make more sense to me to invest the amount of money I'd spend on 1 medium grade custom knife into a lifetime of equipment that I could set up in my over-sized garage.
Toys I could add on to and develop into a great pastime for my pending immobility. Using these things to embellish and improve my current knives is a overwhelming idea.
The thought of one day actually making a knife of my own, gives me that Roller Coaster feeling.
Thanks for all the information and the effort to put it together. I get it, and I am going to act on it!

Phillip..that "Bling" is what I'm talking about! I want to hold my Dog Father in one hand as a mirror and shave with my SS-4 in the other. The SS is ready to shave... I will begin work on the other process.

Stay tuned for PoP's new workroom posts. This is going to be fun!

Peace.
