yeah. others, like tedwca, feel the ak is the flagship. an awesome piece, and tons of fun, but i prefer the battle mistress in its many formats.
The AK and the Mistress are both HUGE in different ways... Pix hardly do either of them justice, though. I like the stoutness of the Mistress though - and the ridges on the blade... and the magnum Fusion handle is quite amazing as well.
These are mostly visual observations - as I haven't USED mine yet, though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
The AK was very comfortable to chop with, and has excellent reach.
My first thought was "this is a fantastic $1,000 Machete!"
