Well, Holy Oinkin YOWZA!!!!. . . I can assure you that when Dan and I made this bet that we didn't have much more in mind than the bottle of booze we were betting. . . We're kinda simple that way. . .
Now that I have read how disappointed you guys are I can see that maybe Dan and I let the JWB cloud our thinking. . . wouldn't you???
So, here's what I propose. . . We'll make it "One knife per person" and I'll give the Dogs the first 60 seconds. After the first minute rolls by you'll hear the thundering herd of HOGs comin' after your gravy train!!!! I bet that the HOGs still score more than 50% of the total being offered!!! I would like to explain to you guys that my taking this bet in the first place really came out of the pride and respect that I have for you and this community, our slightly dysfunctional family, we band of brothers, we Dogs.
When Jerry and I had our original conversation, it quickly turned into something along the lines of, "My team can kick your team's butt, and in fact I'll even give your team an advantage, because they don't stand a chance against my Dogs!" I didn't really think it through beyond that because there was the whole "brother vs. brother" thing going on and it was like the American civil war all over again! So, I'm sorry if any of you guys took this bet as me not respecting you, because it actually sprung from the great respect that I do have for you.
Now let's win some JWB to pour over my diet Coke!
