If you are getting a knife with serrations then it has no real need to be anything over 1/8" stock, even that is a little overkill as you aren't gonna be doing any chopping etc !!!
I really liked the Hell Razors though, if only I was a richer man, anyone score one of those beauties ?
you sure can chop with serrations, the serrations on my kabar fighter chop as good as the straight edged part.
