Got my DFLE in the mail today (and also an Optimus 111 stove I got off eBay). Double delight.
What can I say. It's awesome. What's most striking is how much nicer a full flat ground knife feels in the hand than a saber ground knife. I also have a Swamp Rat Battle Guard (they're also full flat grinds) that feels so much better than a regular Battle Rat.
I couldn't agree more. My Dogfather LE arrived today as well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />. It's sweeeeeet!!!!!!!. The knife feels alive in my hand. I love full flat grinds and I feel that all the work that was put into the blade was well worth it. It's official, DFLE is my favorite Scrapyard knife to date.
