just finishing up the packing, few more hours until I head off to the airport. then none a y'all will see me for a few weeks, which might be a good thing but I doubt it. I'll make sure to say hi to russia from the yard, and I'm taking 5Gb of memory cards so I reckon I oughta have at least one or two pics that turn out decent, depending on how familiar I can get with all the esoteric functions on my new camera on the plane ride over. nothing on par with our resident pros, but I'll probably set up a flickr when I get home and get a few minutes to upload that jazz.
in the meantime, I'd like to extend The Official wishes for holiday warmth and Christmas cheer to all my family here in the yard. you guys take care of yourselves, and each other, while I'm gone.
